I still remember being 8 years old and crying during every.single.one. of my dad and stepmother's wedding photos because I didn't understand why I couldn't go on their honeymoon with them. But even as an 8-year-old, I got over myself by the end of the night…However, this bride's daughter is 24 years old and still refuses her mother's new husband's demand not to cut into their wedding cake. Treating it as if his serious request was some sort of funny joke. Yet, it seems like the true punchline was that this 24-year-old still acts like a child. Her only excuse, ‘But my mommy said so!’

Groom left resentful after watching bride’s 24-year-old daughter make the first cut into his untouched wedding cake with the bride’s permission, despite his demands for her to stop and being completely ignored: 'I never received a real apology'
The way the bridezilla would come out of me so quickly if I saw someone, relative or not, even attempt to make the first cut into my wedding cake…It's just not something one does. So we're not quite sure what made the daughter of the bride feel as if she was even superior enough to ask? Because, although her mother, the bride, had agreed. It became rapidly evident that the groom strongly opposed this idea…Yet, she defiantly went through with it anyway.
Weddings are a time of intense emotion, and pressure for every moment to be 'perfect'…yet, of course, some people are more laidback than others. But just because a bride is laid back, does not mean you ask her to throw the bouquet…or just because a groom may be a 'super chilled guy' doesn't mean you ask him to kiss his bride. It does not matter if you're a child-free couple tying the knot at twenty-five or a couple in your 50s who found a second shot at love: a wedding can be just as important for both couples. So they should be treated with the same level of respect, especially from the bride or groom's own adult (seems debatable) children!
